There comes a point in your life where you start to feel older. I'm not sure whether it's determined by creaking joints, extended hangovers or the fading memory. Today I turned 29, well, officially, I was born at 10:40am on the 1st November 1977 and I feel somewhat afraid of being that one step closer to 30. 

As for birthday plans, I don't really have any as yet. Midweek birthdays don't really work for a good old fashioned binge drink, so I guess I'll have to arrange something for the weekend!

 Anyway - I just thought I'd add a few pics here of my favourite bits of my life from the past 29 years! Click on 'read more to have a look!

So, what are my favourite bits? Well - I'm sort of typing this whilst working on two websites and trying to catch up with the latest installment of 'Torchwood' on BBC Three, so please forgive me for any typing mistakes...

1977 - After making my mother suffer for 9 months, I was finally released and granted access to the world. Why would I choose this picture as a favourite moment from the last 29 years? Well, if it weren't for these two getting together, I wouldn't be here. Obvious really.

Ahh - so that's where I get it from - my dad.

The army - a good laugh and strict as hell but I've got many fond memories of my short stint in camouflage.

Uni - how could I forget that?

I guess it's the same for almost everyone - booze, bonking and bedsits, and that just about sums it up for me, apart from the booze bit I guess...

France - my first bit of travelling and the start of the Unplanned Journey website. Made a lot of good friends out here and still keep in touch with them. This place gave me perhaps the best 6 months of my life!

My favoutirte bit from Spain is when I got stung by jellyfish  - and yes - the scar still remains!

and no - i'm not into self harm - it's just one of those things that stays with you!

As for more recent highlights - my adventures in Wolverhampton have given me many a laugh, particularly this night when I told everyone it was my birthday.
