France is a great country (never thought I'd hear myself say that). If you'd like to learn more about the French and their culture, then I suggest you find out a book called 'A year in the Merde', followed by 'Merde Actually' - most entertaining and educational.
Whilst looking for somewhere to visit at the end of my ski season, a friend told us the La Ciotat and Cassis were nice places to visit on the south coast of France. It was only 6hrs drive away, so why not?
I first visited this place when I got a job there back in 2004. A ski season full of Booze and Snow and various other things. I love it here and will return one day - I promise.
